10.6: How to upgrade Parallels Desktop v3 to v4
If you’re running v3 of Parallels Desktop, you will need to upgrade to v4 if you are running 10.6.
However, you must stop all the virtual machines before you upgrade to 10.6, because you can only upgrade Parallels to v4 if all they are stopped (not just suspended)!
If you’ve already upgraded to 10.6, then you can’t run Parallels v3. You’ll either have to delete your virtual machine files, or copy them to a hard drive and then restore them.
